Welcome to Kindergarten!
Children entering kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year must reach the age of 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025, and will be eligible to enter kindergarten in August of that school year. You may begin the registration process below.

Children born between 9/2/2020 – 12/31/2021 may be admitted to Kindergarten by exception only. Refer to this Q and A for more information. If you are interested in initiating the process for Early Kindergarten Entry, please complete this form.
After registering for Kindergarten, you will be invited to participate in our Good Start program at the elementary school your child will be attending. It is a great way for you to get to know the principal, the teachers, and other faculty members who will support your elementary school journey. We are looking forward to meeting you and getting to know you and your family as you start on this exciting chapter of your child’s life.
The Farmington Public School district heavily utilizes electronic communication with parents/guardians. It is highly recommended that each parent/guardian have an email address for communication. Free email is available at: https://gmail.com. Your email information is kept confidential.
