Summer School Update!

Summer School is in full swing at West Woods this month. Students started the session with a 45-minutes drumming program- Drumming About You by Bob Bloom. Classes learned about rhythm, volume, beats and more and all students played at least three different percussion instruments! All classes have been visiting the Farmington Public Library to learn about Make a Splash– the summer reading program, take a tour of the children’s department, and participate in a storytime. ELL classes also visited Hillstead Museum for a vocabulary building experience, toured the museum, did an art activity in the sunken garden, and visited the sheep at the barn. All this during the first few weeks with more learning and fun to come!

Farmington Public Schools are delayed two hours due to inclement weather. No morning preschool. Farmington EXCL is open at its standard locations and time.
