Kindergarten Math Workshop

Kindergarten families were invited to a Parent/Child Math Workshop hosted by Dr. Kristen Wilder, Family Engagement Facilitator, on Monday, March 6th. Five sessions were offered throughout the afternoon and evening at the Farmington Public Library Children’s program room. Families learned about the kindergarten math standards and activities to support their child’s learning.  After the presentation parents joined the children at over 20 different activity stations that promoted mathematics. All families received tangrams, dice, a deck of cards, and other resources to continue the fun at home.
