FHS’s Black Student Union Hosted a Q&A with Attorney Edward Wilson

FHS’s Black Student Union hosted a Q&A with Attorney Edward Wilson. Edward Wilson graduated from South Windsor High School. He is a proud graduate of Hampton University and has spent his career dedicated to justice, inclusion, and equity as a former DCF social worker and now as a lawyer. Wilson worked for former Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and the CT State Troopers in his law career. He currently serves as the Staff Attorney and Executive Director of Internal Investigations and Security for Hartford Public Schools. Wilson is also a 2022 proud recipient of the 100 Men of Color Award. Student moderators led a discussion with Mr. Wilson on the topics of belonging, equity, identity, inclusion, and perseverance. He will be attending another Q&A event this month at IAR. Members of the Diversity Club will host it.
