East Farms Elementary Schools collects hundreds of donations for NBC & Telemundo CT Toy Drive

During the month of December, students, families and staff at East Farms worked together to facilitate a toy drive in support of NBC30 and Telemundo’s annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive event. On Friday, December 12, NBC30 visited East Farms to speak with students about the toy drive. Students proudly shared that the community had collected over 300 toys! On Saturday, December 13, a small group of students, teachers and families met at West Farms Mall to place the toys collected in the Toys for Tots collection bins. We are extremely proud of our student’s contributions to the event. Our East Farms’ students are Civic Minded Contributors, and have been making this toy drive possible for 20 years!
