4th Grade Open Choice Family Engagement Event at Connecticut Historical Society

Fourth-grade Open Choice students and their families were invited to participate in Connecticut and the Revolution, a program at Connecticut Historical Society, on Thursday, February 9th.  This was an opportunity to extend their learning about the American Revolution unit.  Families enjoyed socializing over a pizza dinner, saw exhibits, participated in interactive presentations, and had hands-on experiences at the museum. Families were able to stay after the event to view other exhibits at the museum. This event was made possible by the support of Connecticut Historical Society funding for Hartford residents and our Open Choice grant.
