Facilities Use Requests

Farmington Public Schools opens its facilities to community organizations and businesses. Facilities are only available to rent when the rental does not interfere with school and Town of Farmington activities. Please be aware that school-sponsored events, including Extended Care and Learning and Farmington Continuing Education, as well as Farmington Recreation extracurricular activities hold priority.
All reservations will be canceled if schools close due to inclement weather. Approval or denial of a reservation is ultimately at the discretion of the school district. Farmington Public Schools may deny requests they feel conflict with school schedules, missions, or other school or Town of Farmington sponsored events. Facilities are closed to external requests during Holidays/Breaks.
Rental Hours:
Elementary Schools: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Middle Schools: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
High Schools: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Weekend Hours: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Summer: Hours vary

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR ORGANIZATIONS:
All outside organizations wanting to rent Farmington Public Schools Facilities are required to provide insurance coverage. A Certificate of Insurance must be submitted with the request to rent the facilities and coverage must be up to date.
The insurance policy needed is either a Special Events policy for a one-time use of facilities or a Tenant Users Liability Insurance Policy (TULIP) for recurring use of facilities. The “Certificate of Insurance,” must include Farmington Public Schools, 14 Monteith Drive, Farmington, CT 06032 as the additional insured on the policy for the date(s) of use. The policy should be no less than $1 million before the start of your event. The insurance certificate must be uploaded when submitting your reservation
